Kawanabe beef is a Japanese black cattle breed born and raised in Kawanabe-cho, Minami-Kyushu, located at the southern tip of the Satsuma Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture. It is grilled over an open charcoal fire. A must for real meat lovers! Handmade special coarsely ground excellent hamburger steak. In addition to Kawanabe beef, Kurobuta pork, chicken, and vegetables are also grilled to perfection. Kawanabe's sweet potato shochu, including “Hachiman,” popular for its strong sweet potato flavor, “Kotobuki” and “Takura,” are available. From seasonal a la carte dishes, we also offer seasonal shochu and sake.
