Amami Oshima Island is located halfway between Kagoshima and Okinawa Prefectures. You can enjoy dishes unique to Amami Oshima, which has a different food culture from that of the mainland. The restaurant offers dishes using Amami's brand pork “Akarinton”, dishes made with Amami's aosa seaweed, several kinds of “obanzai” handmade daily, and steamed dishes made with seasonal vegetables. For lunch, the restaurant offers the Amami specialty “KEIHAN”(Chicken Rice Set”). Chicken rice, a traditional dish originating from the tropical island of Amami Oshima, comes with two kinds of OBANZAI, and is served with a variety of colorful ingredients such as slow-cooked chicken meat, egg, SHIITAKE mushrooms, chopped green onions, dried seaweed, and hand-made pickled papaya, topped with a generous amount of our special hot chicken broth. The chicken flavor is infused into the soup and soaks into the rice, creating a rich flavor that is unforgettable. Amami brown sugar shochu, which is only allowed to be produced in the Amami Islands of Kagoshima Prefecture, is also available.
